If you’re looking to play in the snow around town you can check out a snow tube from the front desk and the Durango trolley stop is right outside the lobby. The animas river sits directly behind the hotel. The hotel is pet-friendly as well, so if you’re are looking to bring your little buddy and start the day with a relaxing stroll along the Animas River walking trail or throw in a lure for some trout fishing, this location is ideal.
