Christmas is nearly upon us, and we say “upon us” because it really does seem to pounce, doesn’t it? Sheesh.
And Christmas isn’t the only big shebang that’s only a couple weeks away; Fort Lewis College graduation for the fall semester is also just around the corner. That means plenty of family will be in town, and that means they’ll be looking for things to do in Durango.
We all know about the Durango train’s Polar Express, which will be running nearly daily through Jan. 3, and there are plenty of holiday concerts and performances, including Joseph and His Amazing Technicolor Coat and the Bar D Wranglers Christmas Jubilee.
But that still leaves lots of unfilled family time. Gulp. Here’s a brief guide of lesser-known ways to keep the fam-damily entertained from before commencement until after Christmas.
